Voyage of Discovery is an 8-minute 3D animation piece created for the main theater of the Celebrity Xcel. The work offers a visual journey through eight tourist destinations from the ship's itinerary, with the camera navigating through environments in a seamless, single-shot continuity.
The journey passes through the Roman Colosseum, the Sagrada Família, Aztec pyramids, the ocean floor, a port in Turkey, and other key stops along the route. Each destination is built with detailed, realistic rendering in a visual progression that emulates the traveler's curiosity before stepping ashore.
The piece operates as a device that invites passengers to anticipate and project what they are about to experience: a trigger for territorial imagination designed in the same cinematic language as the places it showcases. The project was developed in collaboration with 5D Scenic.
